The traditional guesthouse Tyrol has been in the Strauss family for four generations. Roland Strauss is proud of his family history and the traditions of his house. He has continued to successfully run the business with considerable energy and fresh, innovative ideas since 1st January 2007. His father, Wilfried Strauss, senior partner in the guesthouse - Hotel Tyrol - lends his vigorous support.

Together, they provide their guests with a pleasant atmosphere and surroundings in which to enjoy their holiday: down-to-earth, cosy, traditional, friendly, and informal.

Traditional hospitality means more to Roland and Wilfried than just friendliness and personal contact with the guests. Love for the work you do and close ties with the history of the house, with Pertisau and the Lake Achensee region and, of course, with the state of Tyrol are also inextricably entwined with the house of Tyrol.
